Job Description

Senior Facilities Officer with at least 3 years appropriate experience in Property Management, Facilities Support and Maintanance Services.

 

Duties:

  • Liaison with service providers.
  • Assist with the planning of office space.
  • Negotiate and prepare contracts and Service Level Agreements.
  • Assist with the movement of assets.
  • Assist with the maintenance of physical facilities.
  • Assist with the operation of building maintenance.
  • Assist with the management of support services contracted out such as cleaning and hygiene.
  • Compile tender specifications.
  • General tasks as allocated.

 

Requirements:

  • tertiary qualification in Building related profession or an applicable technical qualification (T-or N stream)
  • Grade 12 with at least 5 years appropriate experience in Property Management, Facilities Support and Maintenance Services
  • A valid code B driver’s license
  • Knowledge of the National Building Regulations and Building Standards Act, 1997 will be an advantage
  • Computer literacy that includes a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Law
