Job Description

Head: National Strategic Health with a minimum of 4 years exp. in management is required for a large company in the industry.

 

Duties:

  • Develop Strategy
  • Identify and Develop new business opportunities within the Public Healthcare Sector
  • Develop and set sales targets
  • Manage and drive operations
  • Develop and mentor the team
  • Manage and negotiate for resources internally to ensure alignment with the cluster’s strategy
  • Formulation of presentations and proposals as required to drive the sale to specified targets
  • Maintain an advisory role with key role-players at different levels
  • Promote company services and conclude negotiations as per the agreed strategy.
  • Drive to completion the implementation of the target clients as per the agreed strategy.
  • Complete tenders for the specified Provinces and ensure that prospective tenders are obtained and completed timeously
  • Negotiate Service Levels agreements and drive to conclusion the signing of relevant contracts
  • Facilitate meetings between Medical Schemes and the Provincial DoH as required
  • Ensure that Monthly operational meetings are held with the relevant clients to ensure operational stability.
  • Manage business concerns and impacts related to operational incidents.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelors degree
  • Previous sales and marketing experience in the healthcare market or pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience in the electronic healthcare reimbursement industry would
    be advantageous.
  • Sales and / or key account management.
  • Basic computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Office products.
